That old saying “Revenge is sweet” is a lie. Only more pain, hurt and tragedy can come from holding grudges. One of my favorite sayings is “Holding a grudge is like swallowing poison and waiting for the other person to die.” Pray for the strength to forgive. When we let go of the past, then we can be free to build a wonderful future.
