Start Fresh!

You know the phrase, “Let it go!” I have to work hard at that one.  Sometimes I worry about, mull over and obsess on things I can’t change. Little things that just set your teeth on edge can turn into big headaches only because you won’t let it go. With some effort I’ve learned how to start fresh when the day before didn’t go so well. You can either do something to deal with it, whatever “it” is, change your attitude about “it” or get past it.

Finish every day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities crept in. Forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you should begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.”  Ralph Waldo Emerson
